Winget Reunion

August has been a pretty eventful month. Due to my brother having most of our pictures on his camera, we can't post all the ones we wanted to yet. But stay tuned cause once we get them, we will play catch up.

First of all, my family had their first Winget reunion. This is the first time ALL of us have been together in one place. My parents rented us a beautiful lodge in Ashton, Idaho. The lodge was big enough to fit all of my 6 brothers and their families, mom & dad, and Jake and my family as well. We stayed here for 6 days. This is what we did:

• We went to Yellowstone National Park (we wore matching reunion shirts. It was pretty funny to see everyone's reaction. We were that family we always used to make fun of.)


• went to Mesa Falls (This is a huge waterfall and the path goes right next to it all the way to the very tippy top of where the water begins to fall down to where the water meets the river below. it's so beautiful!)


• hiked an old railroad tunnel


• Went for morning family walks



• Fed HUGE fish that jump out the water to get your bread!


• roasted marshmellows
  
• had a POOL tournament (which Jake made it to the finals and I got out in the first round)


• Had a slide show of all of us when we were growing up


• sat around a big camp fire
  
• sat out on the balcony during a thounderstorm


• River rafting (These are the pictures I am waiting to get from my brother.) Jadin even went. It was a blast! Skye was too little (she was only 2 and a half weeks old!) so she stayed with my mom.


• Had a testimony meeting where my dad poured his heart out to us for what may be the last time. (We don't know how much longer we will have my dad with us.)
