We blessed Skye August 16, 2009 (She was exactly 1 month old). Jake and I had a strong feeling that we should have my dad bless her. And since all my brothers (except John) were still here from the reunion, we urgently made arrangments. It was so beautiful to see all my brothers, husband, and Dad(s) standing around our little princess. She wore my blessing dress. She is a lot smaller than I was so it's drowned her. But she still looked perfect!
This last picture is kind of funny but it shows off her big blue eyes. How cool that her name is Skye and her eyes are this beautiful blue color!

That was so much fun! What awhirlwind month this has been for you guys! HEad, you are seriously amazing. Through all the trips and family visits you have maintained it all! You are my hero! Can I be like you when I grow up????

Oh wow. Thanks for sharing pics of such a special event for your family. We haven't blessed Kadin yet, but will soon and I'm so excited, yet humbled that I actually get to raise one of God's special children. Skye is so sweet. You must be having so much fun with your little girl!
