Our Christmas: Part 1

I know this is a little wierd to be still posting about Christmas well into January, but I have been so busy that now is the first time I have had to sit down and tell ya about it.
The first part of our Christmas break was spent with Jake's side of the family.  Right off the bat, Mom & I decided to take Christmas pictures of the kids. Jadin & Skye looked so perfect in their Christmas outfits.
I had a blast painting Skye's fingernails for the first time. It was a challenge getting her to keep her chubby little fingers still. I had to sing her lullabies to get her to sit still. NOTE TO SELF: Wait till Skye is asleep to paint her nails! She also mastered the whole rolling over thing! She gets onto her tummy and then gets stuck. She really hates that. But look how cute her nails look!

Jake had his last basketball game.

So Dad and I watched it on the internet.

Skye also turned 5months! The Doctor told us we could start giving her rice cereal! She loved it so much that she turns the bottle down! She would MUCH RATHER eat than drink.

Allie and Zeke came over too! This is their little girl, Leah. She is 3 months younger than Skye. It's so much fun to get them together.

Jadin has started to tell stories. He will talk your ear off it ya let him. He will tell you all about how this or that went this way or that way and said one thing or another. It is adorable to listen to him. So here's a picture of him telling us a story about the bow on the Christmas tree.

Jadin & Skye with Grandma Jackie. I love this picture for lots of reasons. But look at Jadin's face, then look at Skye's face. I had to laugh. That's a typical Skye expression. When she gets caught off gaurd, she gives you this dirty look. But soon it fades into a smile once she figures out your plan.

With all the family in one house, it was fun when it came to getting all the kids bathed and put to bed. Poor mom and dad, we took over the whole house...even the kitchen sink! These are only a fraction of what happened at Jake's family's house but we left our camera at my parents house so it has all the cute pictures i took of the christmas party on there. Stay tuned for Our Christmas: Part 2

What fun times! Your kids are just growing so beautifully! I love that you painted her fingernails! She is one lucky little girl to have you teach her to look so cute! Every time we pass a picture of a pretty girl Abbi says, "that Aunty Header". Pr when I wear something semi fashionable she will ask it if is Aunty Heather's. Haha. Love it! We sure miss you family!
