Another Basketball Season is Off and Running

This past weekend was Snow's first game. They played against Northeastern Colorado (NJC) on Friday and ProLooks on Saturday. We are proud to say that the Badgers defeated both teams.

The first game is always a big deal in our house. Jake can't sleep that whole week leading up to the game. And I am busy preparing for the big Locker Room decorating. It's fun to make a poster and get some energy boosting goodies that will hype up all the guys for the big game.

Okay, now for a proud-wife moment. The head coach has put so much trust and responsibility on Jake. It's so neat for me to see Jake perform so many things for the first time. He has taken over complete practices on his own several times. He calls plays during a game. He puts in and takes guys out of a game when needed. He organizes workouts, travel arrangments, and academic trackwork for all the guys! it's amazing!

So the new season is off and running. We feel excited about the team and their capabilities. We will keep you all updated on their record.

I only got eyes for you, daddy!

That is great that Jake is getting the opportunity to "Be the coach." I would be proud too!
