Swimming Lessons, Pre-Tern Labor, & other updates

Swimming Lessons:
Jadin & I took Mommy-Baby swimming lessons! Jadin was the youngest one there but he held his own. As you can see, he loved it! He learned to blow bubbles, go under water, jump in the from the side, and kick like crazy. It was so fun to have this bonding time with my little guy before baby comes. Yes...this means I got my big pregnant belly into a swim suit. It was a beautiful sight let me tell ya! But it was so relaxing to be in the water.

Pre-Term Labor:
This past Thursday, I had a doctor's appointment. I ended up staying overnight at the hospital instead. Come to find out, I had been leaking amniotic fluid the past couple days. But my water has not ruptured yet so it's nothing to really worry about. But I was having strong contractions so they decided to keep there over night. I dialated from a 0 to a 3 in half hour, so they started to worry. They were telling me that I would be having a baby that day! Crazy! So I called Jake (who was away working a basketball camp about 3 hours away) and asked him to come home.
They gave me shot after shot of drugs that should stop labor. Nothing seemed to be working. They gave me an ultrasound and baby girl actually is measuring at 36 weeks! I was originally due July 22nd. But now who knows when my real due date will be. That would put me up 2 weeks. So if she did come this early, at least she would be considered full-term.
So after a long night they finally got my contractions into check. And I stopped dialating. So they put me on bed rest and gave me pills to stop labor. They sent me home yesterday. I will be taking pills to stop labor for the next week at least. I will keep you all posted on the latest. But we are excited to get her here.

Hey Heather. Don't you just hate pre-term labor. At least you won't have to wait that long even though it might seem like eternity until baby comes. I'm so excited for you. Hope everything goes well. Love you!

Hope everything works out. I am glad that you have a healthy baby. My sis Pams baby girl has a condition which she won't live long. :( I love how you took your cuttie to the pool. Too fun!
