After the saving money, heartache of leaving Jade for a night, & lots of nasal spray...I was off on a Girls Night Out! Let me explain....
#1) Saving money--So it was my sis-in-law's birthday and she wanted us girls to leave our husbands and babies behind for a night on the town. We found tickets to the BOYZ II MEN concert in Wendover. YEAH! You might say I was a little obsessed with them throughout highschool. So I was pretty giddy about seeing them LIVE! But with a trip to Wendover, comes much needed money-saving. It was well worth it! Jake was so sweet to let me spend our money on just me and the girls.

#2) Heartache of leaving Jade for a night--- I have never been without both Jade & Jake, so it was little challenging for me to say goodbye. I left Jade with my parents. I typed them a full-on schedule for Jade's whole 24-hours with them. Without needing to being said, my parents did great and Jade had so much fun. As did I.
#3) Lots of Nasal Spray---I was going on my 6th week of having "the cold". I couldn't breathe and my eyes were constantly watering. It sucked to walk about with a bright red nose and teary eyes. Everyone kept asking me why I was crying. hahaa. Come to find out, it was all ALLERGIES!!!! So i packed my nasal spray and Zyrtec and I was fine. Otherwise, the trip would really have been miserable.
BUT I HAD SO MUCH FUN! My mom-in-law, sis-in-law, & cousin all came. The concert hall we went to was tiny so no matter where you sat, you had excellent seats. The BOYZ II MEN were so amazing! I have to admit, my crush for them is not completly gone yet. haha. I had a blast just being me....for one night I wasn't Jade's mom or Jake's wife....but just HEATHER! The funny thing is, we couldn't stop talking about our husbands and babies the whole time. I guess it's just where our hearts are. We danced and sang along to every song. The road trip was half the fun too. What a bunch of crazy and fun girls to be with. We are planning another trip for my birthday!

Mom was the driver. She has a fun pimped-out truck with Sirius radio! We were loving it!

We ate dinner at the Paradise Grill. Mom joked that she wanted to make me feel at home. (They even had blown up pictures from OAHU! It was crazy)

so fun i wish i could get away but nobody would wan't to go anywhere right now with my waddling butt ha i feel like it takes me forever to go anywhere! oh how soon you'll be feeling like me i can't wait to see you with a big belly! i miss you living by us so bad and you only live an extra 20 yards away but still!
That sounds like so much FUN! Wow, a road trip! Yeah, Boys II Men came to Oahu and the tickets sold out fast! Didn't get to go, but glad you did!
Aw Heather! Rock on for girl time. It is serious therapy I tell you. Get well soon with that cold. I miss you tons!!!!!
You deserved it, supermom! Glad to hear it was so fun. I can't believe that was your first time away from both of your boys! I can see why it must've been weird to leave your baby.
wasn't the boys II men concert the Bomb!!!! they came to hawaii and after we went to it we started just playing their songs over and over..couldn't get enough of them i guess=) so fun

i love this post! good for you for taking a girls day OUT!! you deserve it. i love being just MARY too. . . it doesn't happen very often anymore, but when it does. .ahh. feels good. he he.
