So I got this idea from my creative sister-in-law, Kahi. Although my day for Jake was not even half the day she planned for Mike. But I hope to keep this up yearly. So I am declaring January 25th, Daddy Appreciate Day. If you wanna do it too, here's some ideas...

1. Think of all the little projects your husband has asked you to do, but you haven't gotten around to it. Then do them all for this special day. Have him guess what these things were and go find them. (For Jake, it was sewing his favorite tie, getting stains out of his dress shirt, making homemade strawberry jam, etc)

2.Write down a list of things you appreciate about your husband. Then make several notes for each one expressing to him about that thing he does that you appreciate so much. I hid my notes all over the house next to clues that were linked to the thing i was thankful for. (example: I appreciate you being a worthy priesthood holder in our home. So I put this note by our wedding picture in front of the temple)
3. Make him his favorite breakfast, lunch, and dinner

4. Let him kick back and put his feet up while you take care of the kids
5. Give him lots of attention all day long making him feel like a hero.
