Long Over Due!

So we haven't had a computer at home that worked let alone INTERNET! Hahaha. But to my surprise, Jake got me a labtop for Christmas!!!! And internet!!!! who-hoo! I love it! So we are back in the swing of things.







Now, for an UPDATE! There has been tons of excitement at our house this past few months. First of all......if you notice at the top of our blog...we have a new timer! YES!!! We are expecting baby numba TWO! hahaa. We are so excited! We have kept it a secret from our families until Christmas. Then we painted Jadin a shirt that says, "I'm going to be a BIG brother" on the back. And we put him in it and just let our parents and siblings do the rest. Their reactions were HILARIOUS! We got it all on tape too. I will try to download them on here so you can enjoy the surprise too. It was a great way to tell them and it was so special for all of us.

Next....Jake's basketball team is doing fantastic!!!! Their current record is 11-1!!!!!!!! So great! We are so proud of the Badgers and their hard work. Jake is really enjoying this year even more than the last. (and that's a lot cause he enjoyed last year too) I guess them practicing Thanksgiving Day and the day after Christmas really does pay off. haha.

We spent the first half of christmas break with my family. We had a huge Christmas party with the whole nativity played out and everything!

My brother, Roger, was Santa Clause! He did great! He is even hiring out doing Santa for families and wards now too! If you know Rog, you know how perfect he is. His whole countenance is jolly and kind. PERFECT! Jadin screamed the whole time he was on Santa's lap. But i guess that's how we all were right?

The second part of Christmas we spent with Jake's family. We played pictionary ( a tradition it seems) and watched Mama Mia! I love that movie!

But the downer was that I got a bad flu bug Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! I was laying in bed throwing up the whole time! If you know me, this was TORTURE! My favorite part of the holidays is playing games and cooking! haha. But oh well, at least i didn't put on the holiday pounds like i usually do.

We also celebrated our 3rd year anniversary! Since our anniversary is only a couple days away from Christmas, we usually spend it shopping and getting things ready for the big day (Christmas). Which is fine...we still sneak away for a nice dinner. But this year Jake surprised me with a KING SUITE hotel room!!!!! I didn't know until we were driving up into the parking lot. He had packed our bags and arranged for Jake's mom to watch Jade and everything! When we first walked into the room, Jake had our wedding song playing and we slow danced. I hope I'm not embarrassing him. But I was so impressed and loved every minute of it. We got to go night swimming in the heated pool, have a jetted bath, have a fun dinner, and you know the rest. ahaha.

Anyways...This is a long post! I usally don't type that much. I just post pictures. Anyways, I feel so blessed to have had the Christmas I did and we have such special families. We always love any time we get to spend with them.
