Halloween...our way

Jake and I were a little better at getting our pumpkins carved and out this year. Last year, I think we carved them Halloween Eve! Hahaha. Oh well. Can you tell which pumpkin Jake carved? Haha! I love his pumpkin! We have gotten quite a few comments on it from our neighbors. Typical Jake!

So let me explain first that Jadin was given two halloween costumes this year! So we had to put him in one the first half of the day and in the other the second half of the day.

He was a frog for daycare. I had to dress up for work. I decided to support my husband and dress up as a Snow College Basketball Player. I even sported Jake's basketball shoes and authentic uniform! It was lots of fun.

You couldn't pay Jake to dress up so he went as a basketball coach...big surprise. But he did work all day until 8pm so he was off the hook.

Meanwhile, Jadin got dressed up in his SECOND costume (is this ridiculous? I couldn't decide, they were both so cute)

He played outside with his little girlfriend, Rylee. They are just too cute together. Then Jadin and I went to watch the Halloween parade down main street. The rest of our night was filled with visiting friends and family and finally time with Jake. We got THREE trick-or-treaters. In Hawaii, it seemed to be such a bigger deal to go trick-or-treating door-to-door. Here, they just pile their cars in a row, open their trunks, and let the kids go from one car to the next. Not as fun if you ask me. But maybe a little safer now-a-days.

SO CUTE! Both costumes! Good job at supporting Jake. But I'm with him on dressing up... no thanks.I KINDA did this year... mostly cause I could wear jeans at work. But all I did was put on an Aloha shirt and say I was a Hawaiian girl... myself! LOL! But I still think Jake has the right idea.

He is such a doll! I don't blame you not being able to choose! And you are such a cute basketball player!! I didn't like all the trunk or treats at first either, and we used to get hardly any kids until we moved into our little house. We got a lot and that was just before we left to do our own trick or treating! And we were surprised at how many kids we saw going door to door like us this year! It is fun!

I am a BIG fan of more than one costume. I wish that I had thought of that for my Navi J...he would have loved to have options!

Hey Girl! We have always had Skyler in two costumes up until last year when she started school, then we limited it to one! This year I bought two for Ellyit, but they were the same thing. Anyway, I am heading to St. George next week and was hoping we could stop by your place on either Saturday or Sunday to say hello. I totally want to see you!
