October Madness for the Badgers

It's that time of year again! Basketball season is well under way. This past week was the October Madness night (otherwise known as the Midnight Madness, but here we change it into more of a fun family night so midnight is not so appropriate.) Jake was completely in charge of the whole thing. He planned it, prepared for it, and executed it. What a success. This first picture is of the 3-point shoot out with the players against the coaches. Jake was amazing! He was making shot after shot. The crowd went wild. He was the last standing coach and even beat out many of the players. I was one proud wife. There was also a dance-off for all children. A little 3-year old boy won. All the little boys from the community pass around basketballs for all the players and coaches to sign. It's an exciting time of year for us. I am so proud of Jake. He is doing so well! Just yesterday, the head coach let him try out some new drills he had created. The head coach loved them so much he decided to make it a continuing part of their practice! He is also teaching a Fitness for Life class and has such a nack for teaching. I don't mean to sound prideful, but I feel pretty dang good when I go the basketball games, and that handsome and talented guy down on the court is my husband. I can't help but want the whole world to know it too! haha.

Hi Heather!
You probably won't believe to hear from us (Eric and Vayana Boyce). I was so happy to find your blog. We were wondering about you guys and your little baby who I can see is growing up fast. So cute! We're glad to see how well you're all doing. By the way, we created a blog for all former and current seasiders men basketball. We would like to invite you guys to join the blog: www.seasidersmenbasketball.blogspot.com
It is not school affiliated. We hope to help everyone to keep in touch with each other. We've noticed that even the guys whenever they meet a former teammate, they always ask about the others. So here is the blog. You guys can post whatever you want on there. If you are interested, email me at vayanaboyce@gmail.com and I will send you the username and password to use in order to upload pictures and posting on that blog and don't forget to add your blog under the "seasiders bball family" category on the blog. Hope to hear from you. Ps: I miss all the fun hanging out we used to have in Hawaii :)
