Ephraim Elementary's May Day

This year I was asked to choreograph and teach the Fourth Grade May Day dance. So they chose Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's Somewhere Over the Rainbow. I taught them a hula dance. Then I designed and made all their costumes! Whew! What a production it turned out to be. But it was a lot of fun. The boys even had their own ukulele to play. It starts out all the colors of their costumes are all mixed up. But by the end of the dance, they form a rainbow with lines of each color.

Your blog looks really cute. Your costumes for May Day turned out perfect, they look great. You are so good at stuff like that, Good Job. I love looking at your blog even though you live right next to me, keep it up....

Heather! How cute.... I had totally forgotten until now about the dance we did together and videotaped for a competition. We practiced for a couple of days and taped it in your backyard your senior year.
